Wintry…an inspiration board.

I never thought I’d say this, but “oh winter!…wherefore art thou?”  After all, what is winter in Montana without snowballs, sledding and snowmen?  Instead we’ve got record highs in Bozeman!  Yep, 58 degrees yesterday!  OK, so truth be told it has been nice, almost a luxury in fact having a break from last winter’s snowmaggedon,...

“Twas the eve before Tea, when all through the town, We two ladies went shopping for a new Christmas gown. She settled on pants and a black lacy top, Ballet flats with rhinestones to top it all off. I tucked her in bed and I kissed her goodnight. In the morning we primped, it was...

In the beautiful land of life.

Lori is the first person I called when I sat alone in the ICU waiting room at Bozeman Deaconess after the trauma unit personnel escorted me away while they attended to my husband Doug that fateful March day.  The next thing I knew, she was there.  Sitting next to me.  Holding my hand.  Helping me...

And then he cries…

Perhaps we’re at home, standing in the kitchen preparing the twins’ breakfast over a morning cup of coffee.  Or perhaps we’re at a restaurant in town as we happened to be for lunch today.  The Sport in Livingston.  Our usual table.  Our usual waitress.  My usual fish tacos which Doug & I share since he...

My Heart.

On March 3rd, my husband survived a horrible accident.  He was kicked in the face by one of our horses and God-willing, made in back to our home from the pasture where our barn sits.  His mouth was ripped open.  His face was swollen beyond recognition.  There was blood everywhere.  His lower jaw was broken...
