I’m headed back to my ol’ stomping grounds for the weekend to attend an ol’ college gang reunion BBQ in L.A.! The interesting thing is that the group of us didn’t all go to the same college…we were students of UCLA, Loyola Marymount and and…well, it’s been so long, I forget! We are all very different from one another, to be sure, but the one thing we all have in common is heart. This eclectic bunch has always been there for one another, through thick and thin, throughout the years and that is beautiful. Now that we’re all married with children, there will be lots of photo sharing going on in addition to plenty of reminiscing! Friends like that, you just pick up with where you left off! Since I don’t get away too often…I’m also squeezing in a day of shopping LA-style and lunch in Malibu with my dear girlfriend, Genevieve, as well…
Oh, and I MUST spend some time walking barefoot in the sand. Oh, how I miss the beach, the warmth of the sand underneath my feet, the sound of the waves crashing against the shore and the cry of the seagulls…especially during our LONG Montana winters…
