Springtime at LillyLu

Who doesn’t LOVE Springtime in the Rockies?  After a long and cold Montana Winter there is nothing more refreshing and welcoming than the first pasqueflowers peeking up through the mountain snow, the first sight of green grass and the chatter and song of wild birds returning to their nesting grounds here at Sky Ranch.  Being that we are at 6,100 ft. in elevation, Springtime has a little ways to go before it reaches our mountain-top, but it is certainly alive and well at the fabulous baby and children’s boutique, LillyLu on Main Street in downtown Bozeman.  Check out their window display…

Being that we at Sky Ranch are also organic gardeners, I especially love the broccoli accompanying the floral dress and baby onesies.  I’m also flattered that Sheryl, LillyLu’s owner, included my fine art canvas print of newborn baby Cooper in her window display.   This image, part of my “Babes in the Woods” newborn and child portrait photography series fits in perfectly with LillyLu’s Springtime theme.

Next time you’re in downtown Bozeman, make sure to take a peek inside for not only a breath of fresh air and an early taste of Spring, but to see the most darling baby and children’s clothes this side of the Mississippi in addition to the various fine art canvas prints that Susann Saarel “Windows of the Heart” Fine Art Portraiture has on display.

This marks my 8th year exhibiting my baby and children’s fine art portraiture at LillyLu and as always, I am grateful for the opportunity.  Thanks, Sheryl!

Katie Bark - Susann, We just saw Sheryl tonight and she told us about your blog and the last photo of Lilly Lu’s wonderful window displays that you took last week. I am so happy for all the support she is getting but I am so worried about her. Her identity is so tied to Lilly Lu and it is is such a loss for her and her staff. Your blog is a wonderful tribute to Lilly Lu. Stay well and take care. Katie Bark
