MOR’s Fire and Ice Ball

Our family is a great fan of the Museum of the Rockies especially seeing as my son, Sam idolizes Jack Horner and plans on becoming a paleontologist  himself someday.  So naturally, when I was asked to donate to the Museum’s upcoming Fire and Ice Ball,  I was more than happy to do so.   The Saturday, February 14th fundraiser benefits the Opening Doors for Schoolchildren drive which allows all Montana schoolchildren to attend the museum free-of-charge and also assists with transportation costs.mor_fireice1

I was flattered to learn that my donation of a Children’s and Family Fine Art Portraiture Photo Session and a 20×30 fine art canvas print were listed among the HOT items in the Museum’s Preview of Silent Auction Items!  Click here for a preview of all the hot and cool items available for bid.

The black tie Ball should prove to be a exciting evening with the museum’s main galleries transformed into a steamy Lava Lounge featuring a hot buffet, a glacial Ice Palace with delicacies over ice, and entertainment by the fabulous Jeni Fleming and the Glen Johnston Swing Band.  What a great way to spend Valentine’s Day while benefitting the children of Montana!

Tickets are now on sale.  For more information visit www.museumoftherockies.org and follow the link to the Museum Ball webpage.
